Why we wrestle, Part 2: Connor Michalek

Why we wrestle, Part 2:
Connor Michalek

Pro wrestling takes a lot of flak for being sensationalistic. Often derogatory. Occasionally offensive.

But when it does something righ, pro wrestling is a beautiful thing.

WWE in particular takes a lot of pride in “putting smiles on people’s faces” especially children. One of their biggest partners in the world is the Make A Wish Foundation which assists very sick children with the chance to fulfill final goals and ideas. To give them hope when they have none left. WWE Superstar John Cena himself now has granted over 400 wishes to children in the last decade. Others are on pace to record numbers as well.

I warn you now, the video above will make you cry. I want to cry just thinking about it. Watch how the entire WWE roster goes out of their way to fulfill the final wishes of young Connor Michalek during his final days.

RIP Connor. You were a fighter to the end.
