Bombers’ Leggett named CFL Top Performer

On Tuesday morning it was announced that Winnipeg Blue Bombers‘ linebacker, Maurice Leggett, was named Shaw’s CFL Top Performer for Week three of the schedule.

Almost immediately following that announcement, Leggett was named the CFL’s second star of the week.

In week three’s 28-24 victory over Hamilton, Maurice Leggett had two interceptions – one being a 50-yard pick six – five defensive tackles, and one sack. It was Leggett’s second multi-interception game of his young career.

Ottawa’s Chris Williams and Edmonton’s Adarius Bowman were also named stars number one and three this week.
