Pope Francis Considers Ordaining Married Men

INTERNATIONAL – Pope Francis is considering allowing older married men in isolated communities to become priests in order to tackle a shortage of clergy. Parishioners in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico support the idea.

    Pope Francis is seen as being non-judgmental concerning gays but has not advanced any new policy to allow them into the church as full members of the clergy. Now he is talking about allowing married men as priests. I will believe it when it is a stated policy and not just more talking but not new action.
