BRANDON, MB. — The following are Brandon Police Service bulletins for Friday, March 17th:

Breach of Undertaking

A 37-year-old Brandon woman is facing charges after a routine traffic stop.

It happened Thursday afternoon when the police learned she was wanted on a charge of Theft Under $5,000.

The woman was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court in April.

Text Message Arrest

A 36-year-old Brandon woman is in trouble after sending a text message.

The accused allegedly tried to contact a girl she was ordered not to communicate with.

The victim reported the message to police. The woman was arrested and charged with Breach of Undertaking.

She was released on a promise to appear in court in April.

Drunk tank

Two people are facing charges for public intoxication.

The first happened around 7:00pm Thursday in the 400-block of 10th Street.

Police found a highly intoxicated 19-year-old man.

The second happened just after 10:00pm in the 300-block of 10th Street.

Officers found a highly intoxicated 37-year-old woman there.

Both were detained in the drunk tank at Brandon Correctional Centre.

They will be released once sober.
