Missing Girl Found in Toronto Following AMBER Alert

WINNIPEG, MB. – The missing four-year-old Toronto resident, Christina Nguyen has been safely located.

After issuing a nation-wide AMBER alert following the abduction of the child, local police received a tip that the stolen vehicle containing Nguyen was spotted abandoned in a parking lot, still running. Emergency crews arrived on scene announcing that Nguyen is okay, but will undergo further examination.

The Toronto Police have issued a nation-wide amber alert after a vehicle thief stole a black 2008 Toyota Camry from the driveway of a local resident living in the northwest end of Toronto. Possibly unbeknownst to the car thief was the fact that four-year-old Christina Nguyen was inside the family car while it was warming up in the driveway.

The kidnapping took place at approximately 6:00 A.M. eastern time. Nguyen’s parents say that Christina was last seen wearing a red jacket, pink pants and a white hat. She has shoulder-length black hair, as pictured.

The Toronto Police are asking the general public to call in any tips regarding the whereabouts of the black 2008 Toyota Camry running Ontario license plate: BHVH 392 to the police at 416-808-1200 or to Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
