Police plead for help solving Munroe murder

Winnipeg police are pleading for the public’s help solving the city’s fifth homicide of 2016.

The body of Marilyn Rose Munroe was found in a home in the 200-block of Pritchard Avenue back on February 22nd.

Anyone who may have had contact with the victim between January 31st and the day her body was found is asked to come forward.

Details about the 41-year-old’s travels, appointments, and conversations could be essential to finding her killer.

Munroe is described as Aboriginal, 5’6″ tall, weighing 130-pounds with long dark hair.

The victim was last seen alive wearing several layers of sweaters.

She was also carrying a plastic bag.
