Man Recovering After East Elmwood Shooting

WINNIPEG, MB — A man is recovering after he was shot in East Elmwood.

It happened Monday afternoon around 2:15pm in the 600-block of Herbert Avenue.

Police found the 32-year-old victim with serious injuries.

He was rushed to hospital in unstable condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.

Witnesses reported seeing the man wearing only a shirt that had blood stains on it.

No other information is available at this time, but the Major Crimes Unit investigation continues.
