Western Canada Career Criminal Apprehended

WINNIPEG, MB. — An Alberta man is facing 135 charges for a western Canada crime spree.

RCMP across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC conducted a joint investigation.

The accused allegedly broke into rural homes, businesses, and campgrounds.

He stole cars, set fires, trafficked his stolen goods, and committed fraud.

The 52-year-old Eckville man is accused of similar crimes in Souris, Minnedosa, and Neepawa, Manitoba.

He was previously charged with 75 offences in Saskatchewan.

RCMP did not specify what period of time the spree took place over.

His name was not disclosed.

The man will appear in a Saskatchewan court room on June 16th.
