It opened with $23.5-million from 3,434 theatres.


Johnny Depp’s latest swashbuckler fantasy fell to third in its second week.

The Disney epic grossed $21.6-million for a domestic haul of $114.6-million.

Globally, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has raked in nearly $508-million.
