Thompson Boy Charged With Second Degree Murder

THOMPSON, MB. — A 17-year-old Thompson boy is accused of second degree murder.

It happened around 6:20pm Tuesday at a home in Shamattawa.

Police were called to an aggravated assault between the suspect and a 28-year-old man.

The victim was rushed to the nursing station but succumbed to his injuries.

The boy appeared in a Thompson court room Thursday.

He remains behind bars.
