Stonewall RCMP Raid Marijuana Grow Op

RM OF ROCKWOOD, MB. — Stonewall RCMP have shut down a large marijuana grow operation.

It happened Saturday at a home in the RM of Rockwood, to the east of Balmoral, Manitoba.

Police located and seized 76 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, and a stack of cash.

Five people were inside the home and all were taken into custody.

Terry Tronrud, 42, and Erin Tronrud, 41, have been charged with Production of Marijuana, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Both were released on a promise to appear at a later date.
