House shot at 30 times in Brandon spree

Two men are in custody after a string of shootings in Brandon.

The latest happened Sunday afternoon around 4:00pm in the 200-block of Park Street.

Police were called on reports of four men trying to force their way into a home with their faces covered.

One was armed with an assault rifle while the other was carrying a handgun.

Those two managed to get inside as the other two stood guard outside.

They didn’t say anything to the man, woman, or baby in the house.

Police say it appears they were looking for someone else.

No one was injured.

Three shootings have happened in Brandon in the last eight days.

The last two happened just days apart.

A home was shot at 30 times in the 200-block of Lorne Avenue East.

Only two bullets managed to enter the home by piercing a window.

No injuries were reported there.

Two Brandon men, one 20-years-old and the other 30, are behind bars.

Police are looking for the other two.

It is unknown if the shootings are all linked.

The investigation is on-going.
