Hidden Figures Rakes It In At Box Office

HOLLYWOOD — Rogue One held on to the top spot at the box office over its fourth weekend.

The Star Wars story grossed $21.9-million, raising receipts to a total of $477.3-million globally.

Critically acclaimed Hidden Figures had a strong first weekend, just narrowly opening in second.

The space age bio-pic took in $21.8-million on a $25-million production budget.

Underworld: Blood Wars had a somewhat weak opening, though interest in the franchise has been waning in recent installments.

It opened in fourth place and wasn’t even close to Sing with a $13.1-million debut on a $35-million budget.
