More Flour Recalled Over E. Coli Scare

WINNIPEG, MB. — Another round of recalls due to E. coli tainted flour.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Rogers brand all purpose flour.

It was manufactured on January 19th, 2017 and has a UPC code of 0 60179 10231 8.

Illnesses from the affected product have been reported.

The CFIA did not specify if the flour came from the same Ardent Mills plant.

Tainted flour processed there was sold under the Robin Hood and Creative Baker brands.

E. coli infected food may not look, smell, or taste spoiled but can still cause serious health problems.

In severe cases, victims may even die.

The affected Rogers flour should not be consumed and should either be returned to the store for a refund or thrown out.
