Citizen Sleuths Lead To Brandon Arrest

BRANDON, MB – Some amateur crime fighters led police to a suspected drug dealer in the North End of Brandon.

Around 10 am, police received a complaint from a citizen saying they saw the passenger of a vehicle holding a large bag of pot.

The citizen followed the vehicle as it stopped at various places in the North Hill area.

Following the complaint, police stopped the car in the North End of the city.

They found a small amount of pot and some cash.

The 20 year old male passenger of the car was released on a promise to appear in court on August 17. He has been charged with possessing marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
