Brandon Police Catch Wanted Woman

BRANDON, MB. — A wanted woman was apprehended after Brandon police spotted her walking down the street.

It happened just after 1:10pm Friday in the 900-block of College Avenue.

Brandon police searched the 27-year-old and found a bit of meth, a knife, and a stolen passport.

She was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Breach Probation

The woman was detained overnight at the Brandon Correctional Centre.

She’ll appear at a preliminary hearing in court Saturday.

The accused remains behind bars.
