BRANDON, MB — The following are Brandon Police Service bulletins for Monday, January 9th:

Theft Under $5,000

A 27-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man are facing shoplifting charges.

Police were called to a store in the 800-block of Victoria Avenue in Brandon back in December.

A store employee noticed the pair stealing and approached them.

They dropped the stolen gear and fled the area.

Police caught up with the suspects Sunday evening charged each with Theft Under $5,000.

They were released on a promise to appear in court in March.

Breach of Recognizance

A 22-year-old man is facing charges for breaching a court order.

Police arrested him Sunday evening at a home in the 200-block of 17th Street.

Someone called police saying the man was drunk and refusing to leave.

He was detained at the Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.
