Box Office Transforms Over Weekend

WINNIPEG, MB. — Transformers: The Last Knight took the top box office spot.

The film grossed $45.3-million domestically over its opening weekend.

Paramount Pictures says the film cost $217-million to produce, not including its huge marketing budget.

Globally, Transformers 5 opened with $265.3-million including the domestic take.

Top 3

The top three was rounded out with a tie.

Both Cars 3 and Wonder Woman raked in $25.2-million each.

The Disney/Pixar sequel pulled in $141.3-million globally over its first 10 days.

Wonder Woman has grossed $652.9-million worldwide.
