Big Trouble For Brandon Driver Smoking With Kids

BRANDON, MB. — A Brandon man is in big trouble after violating court orders.

Police noticed the suspect was smoking while driving a vehicle with children in it, so they pulled him over.

It happened just after 1:10pm Sunday afternoon in the 3400-block of Victoria Avenue.

The suspect also gave officers a fake name, but it didn’t take long to figure out he was lying.

They also found he had a court order not to communicate with one of the passengers.

Police arrested the 28-year-old driver and charged him with Breach of Recognizance and Public Mischief.

He was detained overnight at the Brandon Correctional Centre for remand Monday.

The man remains behind bars.
