Manitoba’s Carly Dow headed out on tour

Manitoba musician Carly Dow is heading out on a western Canadian tour.

She’ll will be joined on tour by Winnipeg’s Madeleine Roger of sibling-duo Roger Roger.

“We’re both very excited for this tour. Madeleine is a wonderful songwriter and a dear friend, and this is a fantastic opportunity to spread our music to new places,” says Dow.

“Winter touring is great, but not a lot of folks are crazy enough to hit the road through the mountains at this time of year – we’ve got good snow tires and a healthy appreciation of this season, so we’re looking forward to it. We’ll be strapping on some skis whenever we get the chance!”

Dow’s touring in support of her debut album Ingrained, which was released in May 2015.

It will see an international release in the UK this winter.

Roger released her latest project Fairweather in January.

The 16-date tour kicks off at a house concert in Winnipeg on February 21st.
